General Questions

When you book a cleaner, we pair you with the best available local Cleaner at your chosen time. All our cleaners are experienced, vetted, and background-checked, having undergone a thorough interview process.

Each cleaner goes through a vetting process, which includes an in-person or video interview and background checks. This process involves checking proof of ID, verifying address, and conducting a basic criminal record check.

Just let us know you have a pet, and we'll match you with a cleaner who is comfortable working around animals. You can provide additional information about your pets during booking. While cleaners are happy to clean with pets in the home, they won't be able to walk or care for them during the clean or empty/clean litter trays.

Yes, you can request female-only cleaners by specifying this preference when you book.

Yes, if you book a regular weekly or fortnightly clean, we will assign you a cleaner who can consistently provide service. This ensures you receive the same quality clean each time. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we will substitute with an equally experienced cleaner.

Cleaning Questions

The minimum 2 hour cleaning service will include the following tasks:

All accessible areas:

  • Vacuum and clean meeting rooms
  • Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces
  • Clean light switches
  • Skirting boards wiped
  • Empty the rubbish bins

  • General tidy up - includes::

  • Straightening cushions
  • Clearing away rubbish
  • Straightening clutter (stacking magazines, folding throws etc)
  • Watering plants (if needed)
  • Vacuum (and mop) the floors

  • The kitchen:

  • Do the washing up or load the dishwasher
  • Put away clean dishes
  • Clean the sink
  • Clean the hob
  • Wipe the exterior of kitchen cupboards and appliances
  • Clean the interior of the microwave
  • Take out rubbish (including recycling)

  • The bathroom:

  • Clean the toilet)
  • Clean the shower, bathtub and sink)
  • Clean cabinet exteriors, mirror and fixtures)

  • The living room::

  • Vacuum (and mop) the floors
  • Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces
  • Clean light switches
  • Skirting boards wiped
  • Empty the rubbish bins
  • General tidy up, including stacking

    Customise your clean with any of these extra tasks, charged at your normal hourly rate:

  • Inside oven cleaning
  • Interior window cleaning
  • Cleaning cloths and sprays (for an extra charge)

  • Cleaning equipment and products

    You'll need to provide a vacuum cleaner and mop & bucket for your Cleaner.

    If you'd like your Cleaner to bring cleaning products (cloths & sprays), you can request this when you book for a small extra charge. Or you can provide your own products if you'd prefer.


    Special requests

    If you have any special requests after you have booked, no problem. Simply email us quoting your booking reference and we will get this added.

    Please ensure the following items are available for your cleaner:.

    Vacuum Cleaner and Mop & Bucket

  • Provide a vacuum cleaner and a mop & bucket at the property.

  • If you have a cordless vacuum, please make sure it is fully charged before your cleaner arrives.

    Cleaning Products:

  • If your cleaner is bringing their own cleaning products, you only need to provide the vacuum and mop.

    If you prefer to provide your own cleaning cloths and sprays, please ensure you have the following items to achieve the best clean::

  • Multi-surface disinfectant
  • Limescale remover
  • Kitchen cleaner
  • Bathroom cleaner
  • Floor cleaner
  • Glass cleaner
  • Toilet cleaner
  • Rubber gloves
  • Clean sponges and cloths (preferably microfibre cloths), washed between visits
  • Any specialist surface cleaners you may need, such as chrome, granite, or wood cleaner. These must be provided by you, even if you've arranged for your cleaner to bring other cleaning products.

    You can choose any brands you prefer for these products..

  • Unfortunately, some of our cleaners rely on public transportation, which means they can't bring heavy equipment.

    To ensure a top-notch clean, you'll need to provide a vacuum cleaner, and a mop & bucket for your cleaner. If you have a cordless vacuum, please make sure it's fully charged before your cleaner arrives.

    We apologize if this happens. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

    We value your feedback, so please provide feedback for your cleaner when you receive the feedback email or text. This helps us monitor customer satisfaction and improve our training to continue delivering the excellent service our customers enjoy.

    If your cleaner has extra time after completing the main tasks, you can use the remaining booked time for additional chores.

    Some examples of extra tasks you can ask your cleaner to do include:

  • Ironing

  • Cleaning the inside of the fridge

  • Cleaning the inside of the oven

  • Cleaning the inside windows

  • Cleaning inside or outside cupboards

  • Wiping down skirting boards, doors, and light switches

  • Watering your plants

    If you and your cleaner agree to finish early, that's perfectly fine as well. Keep in mind that all bookings have a minimum duration of 2 hours.

    Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.

    Building a good relationship with your Cleaner is key to ensuring a great cleaning experience. Here are our top 5 tips for getting off to the best start:

  • Provide all necessary information during your booking or let us know afterward. Example: Do you have pets? Some of our cleaners have allergies and can't work around pets. Including this information during your booking helps us pair you with the right cleaner.
  • Have cleaning equipment and supplies ready before your cleaner arrives. This allows your cleaner to provide the best service as quickly as possible.
  • Double-check that your equipment is working. Properly functioning equipment ensures a quality clean. If your vacuum cleaner isn't working well, it can hinder the process. Your cleaner can let you know if something isn't working correctly, but it's helpful to ensure your equipment is efficient for their first visit.
  • Ensure your cleaning products are fully stocked. Just like with the equipment, your cleaner can inform you when supplies are running low. However, for their first clean, it's best to have all cleaning products fully stocked (as long as you stated you'll be providing them!).
  • Give as much notice as possible if you want to reschedule a clean. We are very flexible, so you can skip or reschedule any of your cleans if needed. We ask that you contact us at least a day before your scheduled clean. If your regular slot is no longer convenient, you can always reschedule for a better time by emailing us a day in advance.
  • Scheduling Questions

    We don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement.

    Yes. Please ensure someone is home during the cleaning as we cannot clean your home in absentia. we also cannot hold or keep customers keys
